It´s a check! In first move the King can move as same as the Queen. So you cant play exd5 because after that black could play Kxe1#!!!

Hi everybody and Hi Egzot!

Good luck to all of you!

In this game: Cheshire Cat Chess (Ukimix vs. AlterMann) , I cant take exd5; I cant select my e4 white pawn to take d5 black pawn. I dont understand why. Could someone explain this?

Since no piece has move from d5 yet, so, acording tu rules, I should be able to take d5 pawn.
