I would like to put to your consideration 2 requests:
1º Player list, online players, ..., could be sorted by nationality, because, i think pepole of other countries, who don't have many players could find a country mate to play.
2º When a person finish all his games in a tournament has to wait until all other opponents games finish to subscrive another tournament.
Maybe it could be possible to start a new tournament after finishing all games in the previous one without waiting till the last opponents game is over.

pauloaguia, I am experiencing the same problem as I am quite new to Discussion boards. Even trying to follow it daily, you find there are too many and you cannot go to where you left off the day before.

Can there be some way of jumping to the last message read (or the first unread) on a DB?
Brainking.com DB is getting 50-100 (or more) messages everyday and when I go check them out, after I click the link on the second page, all the "New!" pointers are gone. And not just that one. Even a not so busy DB will have loads of messages after a long period without checking them out (after an couple of weeks on hollidays, for instance).

If there was a way to jump directly to the page of the first unread message then this problem wouldn't exist...
Of course I'd like to be able to go and just check the most recent messages on some boards (the way it's now). I'd just like to have a choice.

May be as a zip file if it is very big,or as standard file.One pgn-file can contain many games,for instance all games of one tournement.
But I think a pgn-file with we say 50 games should not be so very big.

It would be helpful to have a pgn-download of
- all games of one tournement together
- special games of one player together
- all games of a cathegory of games of a special period

Why do you want bigger photos, Jason? You can already see who's who - those that have put photos and not representative images like cartoons - so what's the point in enlarging them?

I have to put my 2 cents in. This is a game site and putting larger pics would use up too much room where the boards should be. Okay to have it where your profile is but everywhere else should be small the way it is now. If someone wants another person's large photo, they can ask for their regular email addy and have it emailed to him/her. Get what I mean? Thanks for letting me give my opinion.

I think these small pics are quite adequate. If anyone has a burning desire to see my mug any larger then they can trot off to yahoo HOME or wherever.

I think you want small versions to avoid making the page too big.

Re: bigger pictures.

In order to display larger pictures anywhere, a picture of that size would need to exist - ie, everyone who has sent a picture would have to send a new, bigger one. The smaller one then would need not exist, because width and height tags can be added to the image code to shrink it. However, this would only work if the same width to height ratio was used for the larger picture. For example, 80x100 or 160x200 or 240x300 or any other sizes where W:H = 4:5.

I know this has been talked about on other boards but has it ever been requested here. Can the arrows in amazons be changed to something that stands out a little more like a big colored circle? It would make it much easier to take in the board as a whole.

I like the fact it goes to Main Page so I can see how many points I lost by resigning instead of dragging the game out to the end. Always two sides of the story to look at; right?

I notice that the message I get saying I won/loss a game in the team tournament doesn't have a link to the tournament. I thought I might be able to get there from clicking "Show Game", but the link to the team tournament is gone from there after the game is over..

Could we get a link in the message? (Like there is for regular tournaments)
