Many Conservative donors here in the UK have been given many dubious contracts for covid supplies such as PPE. Companies that have had NO previous experience in medical supplies, or even no pervious experience at all. As in.. the company was registered with company house, never traded in any way. And they get a multi million pound contract to supply PPE.



As to control.. it's called a two party system, with the media pushing that neither side can work together. And an education system (as George Carlin says) that leaves out the teaching of critical thinking.

(She was originally going to be called "Princess Consort" when Charles becomes King, due to being his 2nd wife. But Elizabeth has changed that recently.
