This is a general observation and comment on the current status of the site’s tournament page.

It seems like it is out of control. There are currently over 2,400 tournaments listed. I think it is fair to say that it would be impossible to thumb through all of these. I’ve also noticed that a number of members have posted dozens of tournaments, I find it frustrating to find a tournament I would like to join.

Some ideas I had was to completely reset the tournaments to zero, and perhaps set a limit the number of tournaments a member can create at any given time.

I enjoy the variety of tournaments, but as I mentioned it’s a little overwhelming to scroll through all of them.

MadMonkey: i typed in the description backgammon,hypergammon and edited it and i have tryed to delete the tournie but it wont let me...fencer or someone needs to delete it or fix it for me thank you for responding

rod03801: when I created it i scrolled to the bottom and there wan no games to check or anything thats why i didnt check anything and i have tryed to delete the tournie and it wont let me but in the describtion I have typed in backgammon ,hypergammon so i dont know what else to do

BadBoy7: I might be wrong, but when I look at it : Random game tournie(24. April 2018, 19:15:52) , there are no games chosen for it to assign to anyone randomly.

When creating the tournament, if you choose "Random Game" you have to scroll further down and select the games that the random games are chosen from. (Unless you change the drop down to All games?, I think. Then it is a game randomly chosen from All.)
