Our Pastor has prayer for all our family and friends that are ill or need prayer for any reason. He asks that we name them by first name that need prayer so we all can pray for them. I would like to try that here. Just name first names and the prayers will begin by those that read this board. I will start it..This way those that do not want known the problem but just want prayer can get it by naming them here. We do a have good group that read this board. God Bless you all.
Thank you all for the prayers for me. I went to the Dr. for review of my tests. I do not need surgery for the one problem..and can be done by medication. Now the Parathyroid I still need to do the MRI. I have been putting off because of being clostic. With Gods help and prayers I feel I can get thru it. It is terrible to be like that..but guess noone knows unless they have this problem. I plan to do this next week. Then the Dr. will tell me if I need surgery or not on that. Please keep me in your prayers once again. Thank You and God bless. BARB
Tuesday: ty...she had to go today for a bone marrow test. They are using lazer on a small part of the kidney. They don't know at the moment if it is a slow or fast moving kind of cancer...that is why they aren't going to operate
I just found out that my Aunt on my Mothers side has cancer of the kidney. She had it almost 5 yrs ago & had to have her kidney removed. When all of her tests are done, we'll be able to find out if she's able to have a transplant
A sad loss of life, and such a warm caring person, he raised Millions for the Children With Leukemia charity. He was laid to rest on "Valentines Day. Of course to many of us he will be remembered for Saturday Nights on TV, making us crease with laughter
Bubbles Pbarb2: I am sorry to hear of this news Barb.. you most definately are in our prayers.. and will hope for those tests to not be too uncomfy for you.. may what you find be something that is easily overcome..
I have asked Dan to watch this board for me. Starting tomorrow I am having tests and seeing Drs. for a health problem.. They don't seem to know what it is. Hopefully by the 22nd of Feb. I will know what they are going to do. I come on to try and keep up with my games. I see I'm not doing very well at that either. Please keep me in your prayers during this time.. Thank You and God Bless. BARB
ScarletRose: Nancy was recently in the hospital due to a pain in her chest. It turned out to be diabetes related and not heart. She's had to undergo more test and still more to come. She's had diabetes for a while now. But she's on meds, not insulin at this point.
and yes I know all about the problems with diabetes.. we lost a dear friend earlier last year to complications.. and my brother ended up very sick this past year trying to fight off infection.. Diabetes is a growing problem in the US and needs to be taken seriously.. My brother neglected his diagnosis for about 15 years before he started taking meds for it.. he is now on insulin..
Tuesday.. how is Toby? My brother is diabetic and we have had close calls over the years with him.. such a scary way of life for them.. I hope Toby recovers fully and that Heath keeps in good spirits..
I also will say a prayer for the little one in Neonatal.. I am praying for him to have a full and healthy life.
题目: Re: My New Year's Resolution For "2008" (and an incredibly beautiful hymn)
srnity: I was singing that song to myself all morning! Let Peace begin with me is the greatest message of all. Let 2008 be the happiest most loving year ever. Best wishes to all.
PS every Religious Science church service ends with that song!
srnity: I have no knowledge of her politics, and this would not be the place to comment on them if I did. However, violence is deplorable in any context, and I am saddened by her death. I can only hope that others will be inspired by this event to work harder for peace and justice on earth. I pray that the souls of those who died have found peace.
I saw true "hope" in Benazir Bhutto & I am saddened by the loss of her May she always be remembered for what she was attempting to accomplish & know, wherever she may be, that she was admired by many all over the world for being the kind of woman that she was
srnity: I'll keep that baby in my prayers.Tuesday that boy sure had an Angel sitting on his shoulders. He was very, very lucky.I'll keep him in my prayers.
Doing better, still in the Neo-natal ICU, but things are looking well for him, as far as anyone other than family knows, nobody's saying much (understandably), but he's still holding on, so that in itself is a GREAT sign
srnity: Sorry, I wasn't here a few days and this is late. Mathew and family are in my prayers. Please keep in touch and let us know how he is doing. God Bless!!
Summer Flame: My prayers are with the family of Baby Taylor. Do hope they find out the cause and can bury that precious baby soon. This is all so difficult for the parents. Our brother and sister in law lost a beautiful baby girl a few years ago. She lived one day and they said it was a blood infection. We felt it might have been a staph infection but either way it was terribly hard on the family.
Foxy Lady: Ty and also ty Pbarb. The Autopsy found nothing, so am looking into skin and Tissue samples, if that turns out with nothing, looks like it maybe a Cot death. the parents are absolutely devastated, and at the moment they cannot even bury him, till all tests are done.
Pbarb, i hope your little Great grandaughter is doing well. I remember when my Adam had an op at 12 days old coz he had a similar problem, what they call Pyloric Stenosis. i hope and pray all goes well for her :)
Bubbles Pbarb2: how are things with Jazlyn today, Barb? Praying for this wonderful fragile life, her parents and you all. The LORD created and formed her and she is precious in His eyes. He holds her in the palm of His hands. Amen
My grandaughter called me a few hours ago. They had to take Jazlyn to the hosp. She has not been able to keep her formula down. They are going to do surgery on her tomorrow. They found a blockage. The Dr. came in to talk to them and said she is to dehydrated to do the surgery today. . Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Jazlyn was born Oct. 25th
A Soldier's Thanksgiving Over there a soldier's thinking Of a time not long ago, When his loved ones got together; 'Twas Thanksgiving Day, you know. Over there a soldier's dreaming Of a turkey baked just right, Mashed potatoes, golden gravy, Chestnut dressing, pure delight! Over there a soldier's hungry For whipped cream on pumpkin pie. Squares of cornbread, crusts so tender, Homemade biscuits stacked up high. Over there a soldier's wishing He could have one buttered roll. But he feasts on GI rations While his unit's on patrol. Over there a soldier's lying In a ditch, his makeshift bed. Mud and dirt are his companions; Been awhile since he's been fed. Over there a soldier's praying That his open sores will heal. He is sure that he'll feel better Once he has a good hot meal. Over there a soldier's hearing Loud explosions, muffled cries. Shrapnel killed his foxhole buddy Right before his very eyes. Over there a soldier's quoting Scriptures learned at Mother's knee, Proud that he's a mighty warrior, Keeping all his loved ones free. This Thanksgiving as you're eating That sweet corn that grandpa grew, Say a prayer for that dear soldier Who would love to be with you. 2007 Mariane Holbrook
On this Thanksgiving, America remembers the men and women of our military.... and of all nations.. May God love, bless and protect you all.
