gogul: an interesting duo to say the least!

The Col: I heard of her a few years ago and had to do her songs. She was a good guitar player as well but her voice was the attraction. The singer in my band did a good job with Eva's songs but for a few notes. She's in Germany now with Twins. Have two new singers and we're doing more of Eva's songs this summer (end of the month). Both singers I now have are very good too. I just need to learn all the guitar parts. We're also doing Carole King songs and since were not using a piano (the driving force in her songs) I'm trying to find adequate arrangements with just guitars.

And if you have 20 mins, check out this ABC special on Eva.  She was popular in England - well after her death.
