Some only make a move every few days, some are on many times a day. Best thing to do is to try to join games with short time limits. There are many on this site who like to play shorter time limits - while many like longer time limits. That is instead of each player getting (1) 5 boat, (1) 4 boat, (2) 3 boats, and (1) 2 boat - they can choose different things, like a 4 square platform piece, and other possible odd-shaped pieces.
