And guess what buckwheat? Not everyone is overly worried about ratings etc. The object of the game is to HAVE FUN! So if you win, you win. If you were good enough to beat the person one time and it changes because of all this, invite them to another game and beat them again. That is unless you are afraid that you can't do it again.

Go to your main page and hit show all finished games. See if you can find it there and see what happened. If it got lost, get the number and email it with an explaination of what happened to fencer. He's really good about helping out :)

I'm just sorry that there are so many negative feelings about something that is totally out of your control. How could anyone know that the site would be this popular and grow so fast? Computers are great things, but they are unpredictable.

ARGH Dial up is better than nothing, but when you get spoiled to DSL, well you're spoiled LOL I've heard satellite is even faster. I for one do understand Fencer, hang in there :)

Yes, the site has its problems, but as Harley said, they are just two guys running it and one of them is out of town. I personally think Fencer does a wonderful job of keeping us up to date on what is going on and not leaving us hanging. He (or they) set up the alternate webpage that tells what is going on with the server and that helps. I realize its frustrating, believe me, but hang in there. I have found no other place that I enjoy near as much!!!!

Maybe if the moderators were allowed to delete some of the messages sooner? I mean some of the boards have TONS of messages that have been there for quiet some time. I'm not sure how much space that takes up, but it surely adds up.
