Yep, there is some discussion about this sort of game :-) He is going to implement Teams and backgammon first, then he will start to work on other games (i think).
Of course I know that. It is applicable e.g. for a situation with king, rook and bishop against king and rook. The other possibilities are:
1) King and two knights against king and pawn.
2) King, rook and pawn against king, bishop and pawn.
But there are more restrictions for the last two situations, especially about pawn positions.
:) ..Ill be on the lookout, this notes option is really great for ol´folks like me, who tends to forget their strategies!! ROFL..(ok, maybe not THAT old..hmmm..LOL)
Are you aware there are certain circumstances in which 75 moves are allowed, rather than 50?
Sometimes it takes 72 moves to checkmate with optimal play without a pawn move or capture!!!!
Why do I write the rules when almost nobody reads them? There is a note about writing to info@brainking.com with a request to finish a game with some draw situation.
It explains in the game rules of chess (link on the left). If i remember correctly, neither of those rules, as well as not having enough pieces to checkmate, is not supported at this time.

Hey he's a great guy!! I've had a few games with him, have you seen his profile? Wow, Eddie, how do you keep up with all that??! Do you ever leave your PC?!! You're one serious gamer!
Fencer, is there a limit on how many invites a person can put out at one time? I just looked at the waiting games, and 39 of the 54 games are all by the same person.
I changed from all BKR on my main page to just 3, and a "more" link appeared under the 3. When i clicked on the link, they all appeared on the ratings side, but only chess appeared on the positions side.
Hello Fencer,
Old Timer and me offered each other a draw in this game but both of us couldn't find a way to accept the draw. Are we doing something wrong?
Uil
I have a question Fencer. If a person with a 20 game limit signs up for tournies now and is at their 20 max by the time the tourney starts can they still play in the tournies? I guess for members too.. if I was at 50 games and the tourney starts do i still get to play in it even tho i dont have any room left for games?
Just want to say - what a great site Fencer, only joined 2 weeks ago and met some great ppl already. Have spread the word to as many ppl as i can from other sites and most are playing here.
It will grow & grow i am sure, with Backgammon coming as well.
p.s. Any thoughts along Battleboats lines ???
Keep up the great work - madmonkey :-))))
If you look at the move list, you'll notice black moved b1 twice in a row, which shouldn't be, that's for sure! :-) I'm not sure if it was my opponent that somehow sent that move, or if the system somehow decided that black played that move.
i just want to tell you Fencer, that this site is really terrific, i have been getting thank you msgs from people that i have told about it, they all like it. you're doing a great job. if this site keeps running so fast, and you get backgammon, i think you're going to have a huge increase in members, the things you've added just in the last week have been wonderful. i better stop now. LOL..
thx. ellie
