There are always other CSR's which will not have the person on their enemy list - and if it happens that most/all the CSR's does put the same person on their enemys list, then we have to start to ask ourselfs if that person even belongs on BK. :-)

I agree, CSR's shouldn't have to put up with abuse. Most of them are pretty patient as it is and it would take quiet a bit for them to do that. If you can't talk to one, talk to another. If you can't talk to any of them, think about it...but as a solution, PM Fencer.

Ughaibu, you haven't! I think there was a mix up! I thought Fencer was asking Danoschek who he was talking about? Apologies if I'm wrong there!

NOT a floosie
I think that's true partly. But the CSR's are also there to help everyone. No matter what country they are in. They are there so people can ask questions. I'm sure there are probably countries that it is hard for people to use Paypal or some other means that is currently in place for them to become a member here, but I think it would probably be impossible for Fencer to have a representative in every country.

I know I've asked questions to three CSR's at different times. One of them was not in my country. That person still was helpful.

I just think that if for some reason one or more of the CSR's put me on their ignore list, it must be for a reason. Either I was rude, or said off color things, or whatever. If that happened would I really want to go to that person for help anyway? I don't think so!

It's just my opinion, and I'm sure there are at least a hundred different opinions out there as to whether the CSR's should be allowed to have an enemy list. I feel like they should be allowed to just like any other paying member here. If ever a time should come that they become and "employee" of Brainking, then my opinion might change.

ughaibu - I've found the main function to be answering questions when people aren't sure of things. Starting tournaments, for example.

I have 1 person permanently on my enemies list. He sent me messages until I was sick of reading them. Then I had to add his email address to my 'spam' list because he carried on messaging me that way. I won't put up with that just in case he has a problem I may be able to help him with sometime in the future. No CSR should have to put up with that.
(Thanks too, to Purple & Medic :o) Even though I think I've moderated both of you at some point! LOL!)

I'm really not sure. I don't believe there are any in Greenland. Couldn't any questions that someone might have be answered by most any representative, no matter what country they are in? I think most questions or problems can be worked out in a way that will benefit everyone if it is done in an adult manner.

I just don't think that CSR's should be penalized for being CSR's. It's not like they are getting paid or getting benefits for what they are doing. If they were, I would say that might be different....but they're not.

14. 九月 2004, 18:56:55

For example, how many CSRs are there for New Zealand? Unless one's rep. is local they're not a great deal of use.

NOT a floosie
That is precisely the reason that there is more than one CSR. I'm sure there isn't any one person here that is on all of the CSR's enemy's list.

These people are volunteers and don't get anything for what they are doing for this site. Obviously no one gets along, or likes everyone. I don't understand why these people shouldn't be allowed to have an enemy's list like everyone else. Why should they be left open for abuse when they are only volunteering to help here.

Just because someone has a person on their enemies list doesn't mean that they can't be fair to that person.

An interesting point came up yesterday on General Chat in that there may be one or more customer service representatives who have members on their enemies list. I contend that it's impossible for a person to function as a CSR if they can not be reached by those very customers and would like an assurance that no CSR has any members on their enemy list.
