Friend or foe harley runs a tight DB and treats everyone equally. People take their flame wars to the General DB mostly because their lame posts can stay up longer without getting moderated.

During the webtv problems a game came on and all my opponents pieces were not shown on the board. I moved anyway and found out LATER I moved in the way of a triple jump. No use crying, I should have been more careful.

Princess is in the process of moving and also has been unable to move her games as she would like. Moving is always a chore.

Slow on my webtv

I hear all the time of a ratings drop with a draw but I have never heard anyone say they gained any rating points from a draw. I had draws with much higher rated players and they did drop..but I didn't gain. Oh well.

As soon as Fencer logs back in your upgrade will be a done deal mrloupcity. The list of sponsers and those to be sponsered all got lost in the crash and I'm trying to reconstitute it. It's a big job because I can't get hold of everybody and can't tell what payments have been sent in and which haven't. Working on it though.

We would settle for red circle and black circles with little stars for the kings. That would be an upgrade. :o)

HEXYEBO draws checker graphics and is willing but there may be more to it than that. I don't have a pc so I don't know how much is involved.

You can hit the Cmd and then R key 5 times in succession real fast bui the surest way is to turn it off and re-connect.

If we want to view a particular game and we have the game number is there a place on the Main Page where we can enter the number to pull up that game? Or do you have to go to one of the players profile?

On webtv once you create a game you can hit back button, then submit, then back, then submit so it doesn't take much. I don't know much about pcs,

Even more with a loss. Another thing..you may begin a game with a 1700 player and by the time you finish he/she has lost 10 more games to other people and you end up with a 1200 player. Lose that one and it really smarts.

A more long range suggestion is that the donation money be used to sponser more pawn upgrades. When they join fellowships they may then choose to stay and to renew when their membership expires.

Probably true. I have a heck of a time getting on too and I hate it but I like to be optomistic about the future. IYT has hundreds of thousands of members, years of experience, severe restrictions on non-members, advertising and fancy prices and they still have glitches. I like to think Fencer will do better given some time and support.

The irony is the solution is more paying members. Not fewer. Then we get new server.

A Provisional player on GoldToken can lose a TON of ratings points and really crash in the ratings by WINNING if it's against the wrong opponent. (much lower rated) but I don't think it's the same here.
