I'm sure Hrqls is a great guy,but this has kinda turned the interview feature into a farce.It might be an idea to let tenuki jump ahead of the line and allow Hrqls to submit his interview responses when ready.

Hey,you'd be surprised how many are waiting for Hrqls interview,everyday I have at least 5 private messeges,here's a sampling:

"Hi,just wondered if I'll miss the posting of Hrqls interview if I run to the store"

and this

"I tossed and turned all night wondering when Hrqls interview will be released"

"The wife and I are planning a vacation for Febuary to a small Island with no internet capability,but if you have any inside info that the Hrqls interview will be released at that time,we'll cancel in a minute"

much like everythinggggg else on this site, things go by the wayside until people forget about them, then they don't have to deal with them.......

Rose: I use a similar method when it comes to doing laundry or dishes

trying to find more time .. but so far lacking a bit .. the interviews dont have to wait for another .. they can all continue at the same time at their own pace .. but i promise to hurry (a bit ;))

Hrqls: Have you considered a "ghost writer"

I think it would be a good idea to ask potential "subjects" to commit to a time frame. Obviously, nothing would happen if they go over, but, it would help speed things up a bit.

Something to go "Hmmm" about...at the same time Hrqls said he was too busy, he made 188 moves today.

Summertop: true .. moves take a few seconds (as you can see those moves were all backgammon moves while i left the other games lying around) .. while answering a question takes more time .. i am on and off all the time in between compiling and testing at work

I think it would be a hoot.. and I would expect some really off the wall questies.. ;)

to act as a proxy and answer question on behalf of any interviewee that might be lacking in time.  I should mention that I have a random-answers-generator so there could be some confusion on some of  the questions.  But I can answer most 100 questions questionnaire in less than 30 minutes.  

ScarletRose: ok,how about an interview to see if you get to be interviewed:.

If chocolate lava was running down one side of a mountain and strawberry lava in the other,which lava would you prefer to be consumed by,and why?

Jim Dandy: If you start asking all those questions now, then there will never be the need to make an official interview with here, now will there?

Hrqls: At least they'll get it all at once. I had to endure getting only a couple of new answers in between visits to that page... talk about slow reading

pauloaguia: ah ... i thought you wanted it that way ? i understood that when talking to foreigners you have to talk slowly (or very loud) .. so thats what i did (typing loud is quite difficult but i managed :)

The first interview for instance was with someone that never payed for his membership

Tuesday: Fencer has nothing to approve, I do all the approving as far as interviews go.
tenuki has been having some problems and he's answering the intwrview as he finds it possible.

Still none of those is stopping anything. I'm preparing a sort of Christmas special for the next interview... and it's still a bit to soon for Christmas

Tuesday: It varies and there are often several factors that contribute. But the main one is described in the rules: Interviews (pauloaguia, 2007-12-17 19:39:28)

Like promised, we'll be having a special Interview this Christmas. The subject has already been chosen and aggreed to be interviewed but his/her name will remain in secrecy for a little longer. But I'll get to that in a little while...

This time you get the opportunity to ask questions in not 1 but 2 interviews. And better still, one of them can be about YOU! All you have to do is be the first to guess who will be interviewed this Christmas. There are "only" 75.000 names to choose from, it's easier than winning the lottery ;)

Here are the rules:

• The next person to be interview will be kept in secret until someone guesses who it is. (s)he has aggreed to keep it a secret and not tell anyone about it.


• To make a guess you should send me a PM. Any guesses made by other means will be disregarded. This way I can control the process easier and this board won't get cluttered.


• To make it fair for everyone, each person can make a maximum of 5 guesses. No point in spamming me with all BK members (or I might report you to a Glob). Every guess after the 5th will be disregarded.


• You may send more than one guess in the same message or send multiple messages with different guesses, it's up to you. Just don't forget the limit is 5


• I'll be adding the suggestions to the list of possibilities for future interviews. So, even if you guess wrong, your vote will count for something! Most voted members will obviously get a greater chance to be interviewed soon. Since some people change their names, I keep links to profile pages in this list, so if you could send me those I'd appreciate it. But if you send just the name that's ok too and will be considered a valid entry.


• When I read the first message suggesting the correct name I'll immediattely create 2 interviews - one for the secret interview and one for the winner.


• If the winner has already been interviewed, (s)he'll get to nominate a replacement for the second interview.


• If nobody guesses the correct name by 25 November 2008, I'll randomly pick a winner from the list of participants.


• The competition is open to anyone. There are only 2 people that can't participate - me and the secret interview because we already know the answer of course
