How many members does a team need before they can enter a tourney?

She told me she was going to set a few days up for vacation before the storm hit, just in case. It looks like she did, but there is no telling when her power will be back on.

We'll just have to wait and see. I mostly just wanted everyone to understand that any games she times out in, isn't her fault.

Ellieoop lives in an area that was hit by the hurricane in Florida. She is without power, and may be for a while.

If she starts timing out in her games, I hope that everyone playing her will give her the chance to restore them when her power is restored. Thanks.

Just to let my potential tourney opponents know, I will be away on vaction for the week of August 21. I probably won't get a chance to pop online during that time.

I've still got a week left before that; I'll try to be online a lot in case any of you want to try and move our games along. :)

Looks like a bug to me - like the computer thinks it is only a 1 game match - so once 8 games were complete, it calculated the win/lose.

... which worked in the first team tournament (Backgammon) since it was only a 1 game match, and not 2 games like the new 5 in line team tournament. :-)

oh yeah, i knew there had to be a reason, but it is for a good cause. Even with them, nothing can really change the outcome in that section of the tournament.

I noticed that when playing a team tournament game, there is no "Move and go to the tournament" selection at the bottom of the drop-down list. Is there a reason for this?

Also, the team tournament games in the member drop-down-list (the one that contains all of our games) are not marked with the *s like the regular tournament games. I think they should at least be marked somehow even if different from the regular tournament games.

Yeah, that's rule number one. Then, you have to be a member of a fellowship, and a member of a team within that fellowship.

I've always found 3 day limits to be good - which is why almost all of the "Fast Start" tournament (which I need to start some again), always have 3 day limit.

Plus as I can tell we may need 40 days to get together enough 10 player 6x6 teams, 40 days seems like a long time to wait. 20-30 days would probable be enough in my opinion.

Team Tournament names:

Crowded Gammon: "Don't stand so close to me!" Tournament

Gammon Race: "zoom zoom - wanna race gammon?"

Nackgammon: "Nammon Gammon"

Battleboats Plus: "Plus size Battle at sea."

All the above would have very good turn out - could easly make 6-8 player teams.
