universe: Well put. Not forgetting all the physical, mental and sexual abuse at the hands of religious people. Yes I know non Christian do it too. But you would expect that people looking after young children should control their urges. I know this not a religious discussion board but since it came up I wanted to add my views.
Over here everyone gets NHS treatment. Some people that can afford to or their jobs pays it take out private health insurance. Or some people pay for a consultation or an operation privately out of their savings. I think what is happening in your country is something completely different to what happens here in the UK.
Papa Zoom: Just to point out that our NHS healthcare was very good until recent years. It is all due to money, budgets and people are expected to meet targets that cannot be reached that standards have dropped. There are always corrupt people in management positions who will break rules. The biggest mistake this country made was removing the Matron's role of running a hospital. In this country not everyone could afford insurance and that would include myself. So I still think the NHS service is the best thing we have over here. By the way that headline was totally misleading and totally exaggerated.
