In the final game, both players will of course immediately resign; so it’s purely random whoever gets the first move = first chance to resign.

I think this is a glitch in the software: I must be entered the tournament right at the moment when it transitioned from open to running.

Aganju: If you look at his tournament page it shows that he is enrolled in the tournament though. Since he is a brain pawn it means he can't play any more tournaments until that one is over or until he buys a membership.
