Is the past moves in a game important or do you look at only the current board state?

onigoroshi: My BKR in chess is 993 yet until joining brainking I had never lost a game. The people on here are a lot beter then the average player. Once I get more time(unfortunetly probably not for another 2 years when I finish school) I plan to read every book on chess i can find and improve my BKR.

Nightstorm: Ritilan and speed are actually the same drug. The difference is quantity and Ritilan is never laced with any kind of cycotropic to give you the holucinations.

Walter Montego: I highly doubt he would be taking speed it is the only drug I can think of at the time. In fact I don't think he is likely taking anything the point was there are drugs that increase mental speed and acuity.

gambler104: There are drugs like speed that improve mental performance. These drugs are usually even more dangerous then the ones that increase physical performance.

Pedro Martínez: Your right I didn't notice that it was a tournament. Well I have a feeling that terniment will never come to an end. As for him only having 15min a day or so. Since September 2005 he could have played atleast 1 move nomater how busy he is. You can select those games and make a move manually.

rednaz23: The game is within the first 2 moves so it could be canceled without affecting there BKRs. I suspect they decided to try and make the record for longest running game.

how exactly does the "three times repeated position" rule work? Do both players have to keep repeating positions or just one?
