I first went to solitaire sites, and then poker, and eventually, I think I found the site I'm looking for here. I've been a gamester all of my life

I would like to introduce a game of skill that I have been playing over the past 26 years. It's solitaire, with variations in level of skill, but it's not like any other solitaire I've seen. I think the numbers are different - much larger, but I am not a mathematician, so I cannot say for sure. I think they are larger when put as: Large knowns (cards up and player options) -as-multiplied-by large unknowns (cards down/probabilities).

This game combines some information to the player at start with generally all cards face down, or a sea of probabilities. You have a wide berth as to what you can do. You can stack 8 face values at the start along an ascending 'walk', but as you play more cards flip up and the board gets blocked. You have to clear out 4-card stacks to make spaces for the remaining face values during the game, to win in the end. But I think it might be better for competition (haven't tried), in which case outscoring the other player is all that is needed, and not the former kind of 'win'.

I have a windows executable for it, which allows you to play the 4 solitaire variations, but I do not have software for competition play. I haven't tried that before. Now that I'm good at it, its starting to seem like a really good idea!
