Fencer: What i have noticed so far:

1. Bosses as well as Captains should be able to see what challenges are available, to except them and able to create them from 'The list of teams where you can create a public challenge' list, like they can in direct Fellowship ones.

2. Once a Challenge is created, there is no way to delete it. There is no Delete challenge option like in direct Fellowship Challenges created.

MadMonkey: Only captains can accept public invitations. That's the reason why they are captains.

Fencer: Well i CAN create them to challenge another Fellowship and except ones sent to the Madhouse as well as the Captain can
There is no difference, and it is handy if the Captain is not about etc...

3. When creating a 'Open Invitation, it shows you a list of players for that Team you can select from, BUT if you click on the Fellowship link in the box, it does not take you to that Team within the Fellowship. (not major though, best sort thing now lol)

MadMonkey: There is a big difference. A private challenge is sent to only one team, so there is no doubt which fellowship will accept it, so it can be done by any person with the proper rights (captain or boss). But, if you are a Big Boss in two fellowships and a captain in the third one, and open a public invitation, which fellowship should be chosen as the opponent?
That's why only a captain can accept a public invitation because he cannot be a captain in more teams of the same game.

Fencer: Well i would say the Boss has a better idea what his Teams and Players are up to in the Fellowship, and should be able to see ALL open invitations.

When selecting one, just get a quick page or box, asking for which Fellowship it is being accepted as opponent (simple tick box), then carrying on as normal

You can delete it yourself now.

Fencer:

I created a couple of public games, they appeared in the Challenges list like the ones against other named fellowships do, but they didn't appear on the Waiting games area. If they don't show there, then how do other fellowships know that a Public challenge has been set up? do we have to post them on the Tournaments board.

On the subject of Little Bosses:
why is it possible to set up other boards in fellowships but not edit them, and so only doing half the job. It would be handy to be able to do that, please.

As Litte Boss, I can send invites to people but the accept/decline doesn't come to me like it would if I were the Big Boss, and it would help if it did, please, so whoever it is can be greeted properly when they join a fellowship.

Nirvana: (1) They do show up in the public list, but you don't see them - you only see challenges that you can accept - not all of them.

Little Bosses - When the Little Boss invites someone, I would also like to see the accept/decline to go to both BIG & Little Boss. (Still a copy to go to BIG so they will still know what is going on.)

Nirvana: Well, it is set up to work the same as the current "Waiting Room". You don't see your own challenges in there, either.

I believe they show up on the bottom of your Main Page though, don't they? I wonder if there is a place your own team challenges show up? The specific fellowship's page, perhaps? If not, that might not be a bad idea.. I would think they must show up somewhere, so that you can delete it, if you want? No? (I haven't tried it yet, honestly.)

rod03801: They show up on you Main Fellowship page. All other Waiting ones (that other fellowships created) did show as a red umber yesterday, beside Waiting games along with normal Waiting games. That red number seems to have vanished now

MadMonkey: The team challenges that you create for any other team to accept (waiting room) show up on your main fellowship page? That's good. (I know the team challenges where you challenge a specific team show up there)
I'll have to play around with it when I get some time.

MadMonkey: Because I have to solve some performance issues first (it's not easy to calculate the number of available team challenges for every page), so it's temporarily disabled.

rod03801: I have never put a game in the Waiting Room so I didn't know that. But I have set quite a few tournaments, both 'open' and fellowships ones, and they appear on the Tournaments board so I wondered why they didn't also.

Nirvana: Yes, the tournaments page is set up differently than the Waiting room games.

When I first came to the site, I didn't realize your own games you put there (Waiting room) aren't visible to you, so I thought I wasn't using it correctly.

Basically, the only ones that show up are ones you can accept. And obviously the ones you put in there yourself, you can't accept.

MadMonkey says that the challenges you create CAN be seen by you on your fellowship page, though. (Again, I haven't tried that out yet)

rod03801: I understand that now, and yes they do appear on the fellowships page, I also always post what is going on within the fellowships so the members know what's happening.

But it would be helpful if other challenges were visible as well, so I could draw my teams' attention to them and maybe more people would take part.
