mook53lhd: I seriously doubt it. More like there seems to be a problem with your browser's cache.

Fencer: i don't think so . look 2 pairs , sequences of 3 cards you said you know how to modernize a program which is the pits. your answer is the usual must be my fault . if 2 like cards showed up in a card game in other words 2 8 of hearts & you win hand because of it. you'd have your fingers chopped off if you tried to take that pot in. all i'm saying is you need to revamp what is a bad rng or rnc generator. you made a big point of saying now you know how ,the old program was your 1st try & very flawed. so now i'm asking what you plan on doing about it.? or do i have to be a paid member? (which i've been in the past)& should mean 0 to get an honest answer here. my cache is holding 8 of hearts fencer i'm a senior citizen .i've enjoyed playing cards since i was a lad. never have i seen cards distributed the way the cards come out on this board that goes for the many casinos i have visited etc. you could really make it a great game & fill the tables .i wish i knew programming as i would collaborate with you gladly . well i hope you have the time & inclination to modernize the rcg. if you need aid maybe i can help you by telling you whats wrong with THIS program.be glad to help. mookster .mainly i wanted to make you aware.

Fencer: lets say you're right .i suppose you mean this sites cache . how can i tell if you have a legit concern . although i can't see duplicate cards coming out in same hand excusable under any circumstances. but how would i check out your theory?maybe i should have put the beef under bug tracker ??????? mook

mook53lhd: what he is saying (I believe) is that if something is "up" with YOUR cache, it could be causing you to see something that "isn't really there". Or something that was there... A computer person (which I'm not) can probably explain better, but it isn't an uncommon problem.

rod03801: never heard of that the card was there . i'm using pc's close to ten yrs. i'm no techie ,but lets not run interference.his concern should have been to look into it .those answers i expect from msn etc. so how would i check the cache .my settings are to close everything when i leave a site .the folders files etc. i don't think i've built up a cache . but i'd be glad to check the remote possibility if someone tells me how. i know 10 yrs i should know about caches. yes but i've never had to empty a cache on any sites & never saw 8 of hearts that weren't there . i do have an eyewitness . i'm not petty . the game needs an overhaul . there`s no doubt about that . the cards spit out on that board ........maybe the fence watched to many maverick programs. now if you saw the Cinn. kid (steve Mcqueen) that pull by edward G is plausible .these outcomes are not. for fun its ok. fencer should have never said i know i made a bad 1st attempt & i now know how to make a crackerjack poker game capish mookster

rod03801: not completely.by the way i didn't write to you .is fencer your user name? yeah just blowing off steam .i'm pretty mellow .just that why make a statement you can make something work better & then not explain why you haven't / you make light of the 2 8 of hearts.ppl playing are pretty gung ho & take the games very seriously i think they deserve a better shake. instead of addressing the bug or whatever ,its my cache .does he think i'm from lower slobovia or what. ok lets drop it. maybe sometime it will all come right with a brand new program. other than that ,the site is a good one .made many acquaintances over the yrs. now i've made yours. have a good weekend mook53lhd

mook53lhd: Your keyboard does not have a Shift key or you never learned that sentences usually start with capital letters?

Although I don't like people of you type (who try to tell me what I should do and go crazy if I don't) but, what the hell, hopefully you will understand this explanation:

    1) Our poker model had been thoroughly tested many times and nobody every complained about any unusual behaviour. Yes, some people reported that they cannot see they hole cards etc., but that's just a common problem of browser based applications (Javascript). The model itself works correctly, always shuffles the card deck before dealing and the cards are always random. When I mentioned that sometimes in the future I would rewrite the model, I referred to the client side because the current Javascript table had been used mostly as an experiment, not a flawless and full featured engine.

    2) Have you ever tried to play on, say, PokerStars or any other major poker site? The number of fish players that continuously complain about unfair conditions and "that moron always completes his straight" or "there is a miracle river card every second hand" is enormous, yet nobody does anything about it. Why? Because it is just a poor excuse for a bad play or misunderstanding of basic poker nature. Read discussion forums, you might learn something.

    3) If you don't like poker on BrainKing, please go and play elsewhere. Our site is focused mostly on turn based games and if I occasionally experiment with other technologies, it does not mean that I am prepared to spend every free moment on fixing them. It is my site and I have my own priorities.

And above all, please stop acting like a jerk. Thank you.

mook53lhd: Obviously I am NOT Fencer. This is a public discussion board, which means the PUBLIC can participate.
No one made light of anything. It was an attempt to help, but with the way you act, I certainly won't be attempting to help you again.
