No science really, no formula to follow.. on requirements are to be crooked a cheat, and  don't be honest..

It's really funny how people take it all so serious.. as though it really matters..

Artful Dodger:  Bingo... you hit the nail on the head. The kids know of at least these four who do get stoned.. on more of a social thing.. there have also been an occasion or two that two of these teachers have smoked it on a school outing.. to the ranch.. the teachers all get off earlier and the students ride in to the fields I guess and then on the return the teachers (guilty of it) Re-board the bus stoned.. I agree, they have a right to have their private lives.. but, when the students all know who the Cool teachers are.. and then end up getting high.. and using the excuse that the teachers do it.. they are in good careers... it makes it really hard to parent.. the one teacher was even caught and put in the paper several years ago.. She is the Special Ed teacher.. and one of her students even saw her toking on a pipe.. last week. So that is why the question and comments about the petition..

I was asking since the one high school in our area has at least 4 teachers who are stoners.. these teachers are to be role models for our children.. and we are made to send our children to school and yet we have NO control on the role models our children are around for more than 8 hours a day????

Hello.. what is WRONG with this picture.. ?? I was curious cause I live in an area that feels they can take away the rights of our citizens and they can play by their own rules.. I am planning on typing up a Petition to get our Schools out here to do drug testing on a regular basis.. Yes.. I am a brat..

I am interested to learn if the schools in your area submit the Teachers to Drug tests?

I also would be interested to hear your opinion on how you feel if the school does do random drug testing or if it doesn't?

Subject: Re: You're info is wrong.
Artful Dodger:  Stats are biased.. yes.. single parents are usually in poverty levels due to it taking two incomes anyway to live the American dream.. hard to have those two incomes with a single parent.. Facts are.. Boys usually don't stick around.. they aren't usually mature enough to handle the responsibilities of children. Another fact.. kids are having sex around 10 years of age now.. any parent out there not wanting to take that in is in denial. At that age they simply just don't understand what can happen.. I am not saying having babies as a single girl is good.. I am just saying.. it is crazy for these girls to believe the boy is going to be there.. that is what we need to teach the girls..

Subject: Re: You're info is wrong.
Artful Dodger: Sorry.. but until boys start actually growing up.. why give out the false impression that a couple raises babies and they all grow up happily ever after.. Most people I would hope over the past 20 some years have observed that children are mostly being brought up by single moms.. okay.. sometimes the dads are raising them singly.. but, mostly the girls are ending up prego and the boys not really sticking around..

Bwild:  As usual it went over your head.. you took what I said as a direct hit when in fact it was an observation. I didn't directly say.. Bwild..

It might have been off a post of yours to which I got the observation.. however, I am not sure.. I have only a few mins to scan this board and didn't catch the actual post I was commenting to.. I find it funny how alot of people use the expression "God will punish those who deserve it" or similar.. so I openly asked..

has anyone ever died and witnessed personally God punishing a
"______________" (fill in with what ever appropriate label for which you
choose; exam. rapist, unibomber, wife beater).

Then off of that.. I commented on a persons own prison they will sometimes put themselves into.. especially if they blame themselves for a personal event in their life.. Some even live online 24/7 arguing about other peoples opinions trying to push their own opinion into someone else. I wonder.. do they do this in the real world? And why live in an world wide web prison.. so if that is odd humor to you.. then so be it. Interpret it how you wish. But, please.. don't take my comments as personal attacks. It's not always all about you..

A few years ago gasoline rose up to $4 per gal here in the states. Now.. we import the oil .. yet, when we have the oil over here why is it we are paying to import in here.. I would rather see jobs available to our country men by processing the oil our country has rather than pay a high dollar for that being brought in. Is it because we have men making the final decision??

Subject: Re:Yes, perfect for the ones who have been unemployed for 99 weeks who whine about unemployment benefits ending.
(V):  Most people in the US live way beyond their means.. They have house loans, student loans, auto loans and credit cards they shuffle payment after payment to.. they have to depend on two solid incomes to maintain their budget. When this started their was monies granted to banks.. but, also stimulus monies to help those homeowners.. The people who rent.. such as myself didn't have the luxuries of getting this extra money. I am amazed the prices of real estate. I grew up knowing that people had to work for their life styles I know the younger crowd thinks they get to start at the top.. and they can if their credit cards and score allow them to. Take their job from them and they start losing stuff cause all their monies are tied up in paying loans off.. not saving..

I feel fortunate at this time that we live in an area that is affordable. Although, it doesn't offer many professional career jobs it does have the service type jobs and even if having to work for minimum wage I know we are still able to at least pay for housing.. luckily, I was not spoiled with high paychecks as an adult to where I am suffering right now..
Finding that analysts feel that my age group on up will be the ones who don't get chosen right off who may trickle back to sufficient jobs is unsettling to me. Though probably not as much as the one who is used to a larger budget. I do know that being a professional Dan has run into stumbling blocks.. he is repeatedly told he is way over qualified and is usually passed over for that and his age. Those people on the 99 weeks are so being judged to where others think they are just sitting on their butts. They aren't.. I know Dan and I have put out several thousands in the past 3 summers just for interviews.. due to the travel and the costs related.. this is monies we have labored with odd jobs, or working on the family horse ranches, or delivered newspapers to earn.. the time Dan spends alone submitting his resume' and balancing everything else is amazing.. What advantage we have is our cost of living isn't pushing us out of our house..

(V):  I agree with you .. there should be some screening done when selling a gun.. unfortunately as long as we have those selling guns and accessing guns illegally it makes it rather difficult to control whose hands they fall into.. I definitely don't think my ex should ever have access due to his drunken idiotic behavior.. to which he claims he never can remember. (A common complaint of those with Bi-Polar when mixing alcohol).. People however the more they strut they have their constitutional rights seem to remember when the constitution was written over 200 years ago the amount of people in the US was more manageable along with the ways society has changed.. I really think the constitution and some of the laws really need to be re assessed.. to match up with this day and age.
