ketchuplover: lol they wished they had. I checked in at 8:30 am waited an hour to go to pre-op, taken to operating room at 12:30, 2 hour surgery, then post-op til 3. My son who brought me had no choice to go to work and call his wife with a 20 month and 3 month old to pick me up. The anesthesia post-op made me not care to cry and argue how she couldn't possibly handle that. Luckily she called her step mom to take kids. Everyone else has day jobs. So on my Brainking my hands would be my mouth, or do you know me?
playBunny: yes! I feel deprived if the other resigns before I make the winning move. I'm not offended if the game goes on, but I will resign if there's no hope for me, and we both have several pieces left.
Bernice: I tried to buy bishop yesterday and today but never got past the "pay now" credit card link, because the site never stopped loading so I gave up. I still have the blazing red notice that my membership will expire in a few days, and I have an email saying I purchased a membership yesterday. I never put my credit card info in, and PayPal isn't supposed to save it. I can't be the only person having problems with Brainking.
I think Brainking is on autopilot now with what happened with me losing in a timeout when I had made last move, and I'm trying to accept a game invitation and it takes me to waiting games. I wonder if PayPal is safe to use any more?
BGBedlam: or restrict them joining tournaments if they have over 100 games because people who join tournaments don't know who they're getting. There are times when the lights are off on all the horders' games and they are lost.
Subject: Re: Thousands of games and years to play one round of a tourney
Hrqls, Carpe Diem: At the same time, people have a right to resign games anytime or however many times. That's within their rights or it wouldn't be an option. Everyone has a pet peeve I guess. Mine is people who keep signing up for tournaments with hundreds or thousands of games and moving once a week or two weeks.
beach: My gripe is being held down by people who sign up for tournaments with hundreds of games going, , and move every two weeks to beat the time out. I shouldn't sign up for games with lots of time to move.
This is like a dream where you're talking and no one can hear you. I had a game in my turn box which showed I had made the last move but it was showing as my turn. It was frozen. I couldn't move but it kept showing up as my turn. I don't know what you all are seeing but I timed out on a game I couldn't move it but it stayed in my turn box. I timed out therefore I lost unfairly. I was about to make the winning move but couldnt. I lost.
