11. January 2014, 06:34:09 Subject: Re: Pick your own colour?  Aganju: What a bizarre setting - why would anyone ever want that? As you say, it certainly shouldn't be the default. But even so, I would think that since the setting is for "games with a random start position", this would just mean a player would end up with either all white or all black in an individual tournament - having all white in something like 15 consecutive tournaments would still be a little odd. But it makes sense that it's somehow tied to that setting. |
